What a beautiful site! I have a wonderful TWH that I need to sell for my friend. It is a 11yr old mare that has had two babies. The first baby took wealing of the year in the TWH circuit. The second is a gaited mule, that is 18mos old. This mare is not only a great producer but also a great all around horse that can do anything with out a fuss. My husband and I own two well bloodlined TWH mares. These exceptional horses are members of our family. They are naturally gaited (shod with keg shoes) and smooth as glass in the show ring and on the trails. Here! Here! We agree with you 100% against soring, built ups, or any other artificial means to augment these magnificent creatures. Let us hear from you. It is refreshing to have someone else feel as we do on these animals' behalf and not the ego driven owners that get way too much press!

I have a very naturally gaited mare that is also a very good mother. I am interested in breeding her to a stud that has a history of throwing very naturally gaited colts/horses (Iwant the runningwalk especially). She has had a number of very nice colts, but none have had as good a natural gait as she has. Do you-or anyone out there have any suggestions or ideas? I am interested in either natural or artificial breeding.

Loved your site. Really loved your feelings about the TWH. I have a colt which I want to market but have not because I feel he is to good to be padded up. Here they still do that a lot. I am not keeping him because I show 1/2 arabians/1/2 walkers.(great cross) am doing well. My family and friends show arabians. Any ideas about marketing him to someone who will show but not pad up. Papers show Rogers perfection, carbon copy, mark of carbon, merry go boy, midnight sun, Entertainer. Really good stuff. Have owned dam for 14 years and would not part with her for any amount of $. May show the Arabians but ride the TWH, as they are great horses for the older set (ME).

Hi, I enjoyed seeing your gold horses. I have raised palomino's for several years and developed my own Champayne line. It has been a great experience for me. Great Website you have here. It's wonderful to know that you are opposed to soring technics, and I wish everyone who own or are interested in TWH's would become as involved as you. My horses are natural, and would not know anything but. I also believe in keeping the old bloodlines alive though my breeding, so they are naturally smooth- not pacey.

I am currently re-training an older black walking horse mare. The horse was given to me and I had high hopes of riding this beautiful creature, however the horse had been mistreated and not really trained when she was younger. I have extrememly high hopes that this beautiful mare will come around and become the horse that I want.

Loved your homepage!! I booked marked it. I to raise Walkers, and have showed very little. I too am against soring. I was in Tenn. to see the trainers show , as you know it was called off. I was wondering it you could tell me what I might get if I cross a chestnut or a bay with a palamino? I've only been breeding for paints and gaited mules. I like a change. Nice site but I really wish people like you who think that the goverment really cares about the welfare of the Tennessee Walking Horse would wake up. All they want to do is run us out of business. The strategic plan is nothing but trash and it doesn't take the welfare of the horse into consideration. All the government cares about is making money and harassing this industry. I have two small kids who show every weekend. People like you are trying to ruin a good family sport by backing the white knights of Washington.

I don't have walking horses but I love any kind of horses. I did have my own quarter horse I was training but we thought we'd be moving far away so my mom sold him to someone down the road. The bad part of that was I was really looking forward to riding him and a month after we sold him, the lady that bought him was riding him, just nicely. :-(
